Villa Nova represents a young and vibrant brand, established in 1993 aiming to create versatile fabrics and wallcoverings that offer affordable style. Villa Nova is a division of The Romo Group, with an entirely separate team of in-house designers.
Villa Nova’s distinctive signature colour palette incorporates an extensive variety of classic and contemporary shades. The Villa Nova collections are carefully co-ordinated to provide colour consistency throughout the range, allowing designs from a variety of collections to be used together to create an exclusive Villa Nova scheme.
Villa Nova’s latest Norrland collection captures nature’s beauty as in a misty still morning of forest landscapes and a desire to connect with the outdoors. The essence of ‘hygge’ (the Danish sense of life’s simple pleasures), the need for a sense of wellbeing, is instilled in the Norrland collection. Norrland takes a relaxed approach to combining various textures punctuated with handcrafted inspired elements and timeless folk patterns that translate into a casual warmth.
Its sister collection, the Villa Nova Norrland Weaves continues the idea of a hygge approach to interior design with a rustic and textural collection of small-scale weaves with geometric designs and organic textures, reminiscent of the simple patterns in Scandinavian textiles. These five tactile, heavily textured weaves are suitable for upholstery and drapes and presented in a colour palette that is designed to sit with the Norrland prints, weaves and embroideries.
The Villa Nova range of soft furnishing fabrics includes, amongst others, Seville, a cotton plain in a palette that includes neutrals, brights and softer shades to complement Villa Nova’s new and current collections. Seville has a gently brushed texture that is soft to the touch and has great appeal. A truly versatile fabric suitable for drapes, blinds, cushions and upholstery, that is effortless to use.
Villa Nova’s Oscuro collection offers stylish, fire retardant blackout fabrics in a sophisticated colour palette. These blackout fabrics are useful to both commercial and residential use, particularly for bedrooms. Another utilitarian fabric from the Villa Nova range is the Atil velvet that is designed as a practical and highly durable EasyClean velvet, that allows marks or stains to be removed easily using just water. A versatile and particularly useful fabric for children’s rooms and sofas loved by pets (please see the video https://www.villanova.co.uk/collections/plains/atil).
Villa Nova’s Wall murals are a new addition to the range and these fully illustrated 3m x 3m scenes embody the spirit of the collection with an attention to detail that gives the collection its unique charm and exceptional appeal. Fill children’s rooms with vibrant colour and energy that sparks the imagination.
Villa Nova’s Picturebook collection is inspired by childhood memories of whimsical story books brought to life by captivating illustrations. Villa Nova collaborated with three talented children’s picture book illustrators: Frann Preston-Gannon, Christopher Corr and Yuval Zommer to recreate the joy of children’s books in an enchanting collection of fun fabrics and wallcoverings bursting with wondrous creatures and scenes from far away places. Join our adventure in illustration and discover glorious and enchanting prints, delightful embroideries, playful sheers and charming weaves all brought to life from the pages of a rich and enchanted story book.
