Swaffer established in 1973, Swaffer was founded by Anne & Robert Swaffer to produce a brand of high quality decorative furnishing fabrics.
Notable amongst the Swaffer collections are:
Eden that offers a fresh collection of contemporary watercolour prints in seven floral designs, Anemone, Clematis, Cosmos, Delphinium, Iris, Lilies and Poppyfields, washed onto a lightly glazed cotton ground with a light and ethereal touch. All accented by textured broken plain Acer, an innovative weave with a soft linen look available in a total of 40 colours. Vibrant cut velvet stripes Willow and Coombe are a sumptuous addition to any scheme. All prints, velvets and weaves are suitable for curtains and upholstery.
Artemisia with the Rosa and Calla encapsulating the movement of painterly and abstract brushstrokes, conveying the artistry of oil painting masterpieces. Compositions of both cotton velvet and linen union provide Artemisia with a luxurious yet casual elegance in monochromatic and jewel tones, complimented by new colourways of cut stripe velvet Coombe.
Zen which presents an intricate weave structures of the innovative, award winning, design Parterre, that flow together in waves of varying textures across the width of the fabric. Viscose, linen and polyester yarns produce the perfect formula for all end applications: softness for drapes, durability for upholstery and elegance for bedspreads. Parterre is available in a choice of eight beautifully blended colourways. Inspired by Japanese raked gardens, Zen is woven with subtle multi-angular stripes criss-crossing the fabric. The random almost semi-plain nature increases its versatility, as does the extensive choice of 30 colourways.
