KAI features inspirational designs where fabrics are selected for their comfort, whilst retaining a luxurious quality. The KAI name was derived from the concept of its meaning ‘earth’, ‘sea’, and ‘tree’, which represent the ever-changing nature of the elements. The inspiration for the brand and continual creation of new designs, techniques and styles are all developed by our talented in-house design team overseen by Senior Designer Gemma Drury. Design Manager Laura Spencer explains “We wanted to create individual style with contemporary, sophisticated designs for all areas of the home.”
Notable amongst the KAI collections are Oslo which presents a beautiful embossed velvet in 2 contrasting designs; Oslo comprises of Nora, a subtle geometric spot and Tolga a distressed stripe. With an exceptionally soft, peach-skin finish, this upholstery fabric will add character and charm to your furniture.
Allegra is a stunning printed and embossed upholstery and curtain velvet that incorporates the popular Letino velvet ground with a fine linear design, to create a fur effect full of moment and texture. With its soft handle and beautiful drape, this fabric is not only an elegant option for curtains and accessories, but is also extremely durable and suitable for upholstery, adding tactile glamour to any interior.
