LARSEN

Drawing on inspiration from textile traditions and methods from around the world. A distinctly modern, sophisticated brand bringing a designer influence to fabric and wallpapers for all interiors. The colours of the Larsen collections are muted with attention drawn on texture and overall aesthetic impact: silver hues, icy celadon blues, browns, rich copper and sand palettes juxtaposed with bright lemon yellow hues that inspire. The overall textures tend to be geometric and abstract introducing subtle dimensionality to the room’s ambience.

Notable amongst the Larsen range of understated luxurious interior design fabrics is Myrthus that depicts an Ikat pattern with a crisp dry hand, embroidered with a cotton linen viscose mix in earthy colours. Laurus is an uneven, tactile due to its texture, plain cotton linen in soft colours. Celtis is a soft linen mix fabric with rustic, artisanal appeal with slubs. Betula is a heavy chenille yarn in the weft of this design creates an interesting look of irregular horizontal lines on the surface. Almond presents a charming hand-woven drapery silk with a slight herringbone slub in its texture. Spruce by contrast is a very thin chenille with a fine strié effect in mineral tones. Tepal is an elegant, geometric pattern that is paper transfer printed on a jacquard woven ground where the viewer can almost see the process in achieving this effect. Catalpa presents an artisanal hand-woven effect plain made in viscose akin to the aesthetic of raw silk.
