Declercq passementiers’ story started in 1852 with a small trimmings factory. Generations of craftspeople have handed down their expertise and ancestral techniques, thus perpetuating the refined traditions of a trade that has become rare. Jérôme and Elisa Declercq represent the sixth generation of this family of trimming-makers and still work according to these traditional craft techniques.
The collections are rich, varied and inspire admiration to the viewer and delight to the client. Trimmings such as piping, single or double cords, braids of varied widths, colours, shine; ruches of gold and silver thread that play with light to elevate the upholstery, tiebacks that enrich the curtains and inspire the senses.
