Casal

Exclusive French Fabric House, Casal: Tissus ‘Ameublement features a wide and varied collection of fabrics including superb faux skins in the Thannerie Collection; glamorous metallic vinyls in the Disco, as well as velvet, spingles, colour woven and Trevira CS fabrics.

The roots of the CASAL company are interwoven to the origins of the Prévot-Scheurer family, who have been weaving textile history in Alsace for six generations.

The Prévot-family descends from textile royalty on the one hand Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf, creator of the Toile the Jouy and founder of the Jouy-en-Josas and on the other hand Auguste Scheurer, founder of the textile printing mill created in Alsace in 1841.

This illustrious family history starts in 1842, when Auguste Scheurer moves his in-law’s textile printing factory from Mulhouse to Thann and changes the name from Rott to Scheurer-Rott.

Suitable for all soft furnishing end uses, orders are delivered in weekly shipments from the Casal headquarters in Thann, France.

London Fabric Company can obtain access to the wonderful Casal ranges from Napoli, Klee, Milano, Galliera to Beaubourg and Carnavalet.
